Craig - if you could go back in time, whats the one invention you wish you could have tackled, and why?
secondly - where do you see technology and mentalism going in the next few years?

When I was in fifth grade a guy came to my class and asked everyone what the greatest invention of all time was. Several people shouted "wheel", "electricity", "car", "plane", etc. They were all followed with "no...no...no...no.." and then I raised my hand. "Speech" I said. It seamed so fundamental to me. When you peel back the onion what can get done without communication? He said, "yes, you are correct." "Nobody has ever got that before." Maybe that day changed my perspective forever.
There are lots of great inventions that would have been cool, rewarding, life changing to work on like engines, cars, airplanes, medical equipment, MRIs, computers, or the internet to name just a few. If I were to answer honestly, I would have like to be part of the US space program that sent people to the moon. I still look at the moon on occasion and can't believe we sent people there. Even today I can hardly fathom the task. It was a specific goal that was set as a challenge with a specific time frame and a team was set off to accomplish it. I can imagine how unreal they thought the idea was in the beginning. I would have loved to be part of that team. Technology will continue to advance at Moore's Law, there is no doubt about that. I think magic will continue to be pumped out faster and faster. The barriers of entry into magic production continue to get lower and lower. I think technology is a double edge sward, it will both create new methods and destroy old ones. Lets face it, things like drawing duplications may not be impressive in the future unless done on a business card using a pencil. I know how I plan to merge to two together but I do not plan to discuss that here -Craig
