Hi Tony,
Are there any places you regularly go to find the right kinds of props for your act? For instance, do you go to antique stores, flea markets, shop on eBay, what works best for you.

Hi Motown,
That is a great question. The answer is yes. In no particular order, here is where I love to shop for my bizarre magic. Definitely antique stores. New age stores. Flea Markets Gothic online magic stores catering to the vampire subculture Steam punk online stores Ebay is great new and used stores dollar stores Michaels Crafts Store Estate sales Wiccan stores Medieval online stores specializing in armor, weapons, clothing New & used clothing stores and Retro clothing stores are great for certain attire That's most of them. If I think of any more that I missed, I will definitely add them in. I'll try and compose a list of websites too of my favorite stops.

Tony,
That's a great list. Occasionally I've found items in History Museum stores, especially the ones in Europe. I also like going to old book stores. They're great for finding great old illustrations and letters that can be scanned and used for props and decoration devices or just used for reference.

That's a deal. I was in Brussels once, but that's it. I will check out your city on the web.
Thanks!

Great stores on the internet are lebanon circle, outlaw effects and alchemy moon are on of the major players in the bizarre field today. Outlaw effects has great booktests, Lebanon circle has a great little prop called momento mori and Alchemy moon is known for it's zoltar effect.

Yes indeed, Cirrus. Those are some excellent sources and online shops for bizarre magic and mentalism.
