Have to agree with Kyle-FB is far from dying. It remains one of the most used websites on the planet.
If you are "Internet paranoid," you should be totally intimidated by Google as they track every single thing you do when you are using their search engine. As in life, if you have a bad experience or don't want to abide by guidelines...don't participate. |

It's not searchable, right? Couldn't find anyway to look for a book there other than paging through everything.
Thanks.

Hi everybody,
Just a short question : Does anyone have had a problem already to get a paid item, from another person through the Facebook Surplus Magic Exchange groupe or can you trust everybody ? I'm asking since I currently have a problem to get an item from someone, I've paid already ... Is the US postal service restricted to certain items being send to Europe, i.e. address with no exact street name and number ? I've had already a good experience with a purchase last year via the Surplus Magic Exchange, but this time I'm having troubles to get the item I've paid for. Is there anything I can do ? I won't get into details on this open forum or name anybody. If you need more details please pm. Thank you very much in advance for your help and advice. Oliver. |

I personally have never had trouble on SME.
I would think the moderators could help if you had issues. |

I thought the group would be a fantastic resource for me to use (not only do I have a few magic items I want to sell, but also just to communicate with fellow magicians).
I attempted to get access to the group but was quickly shut down as I was not 18. I thought this was a fairly unfair excuse for not being allowed in a Facebook magic group. After all I can buy effects of penguin with no problems whatsoever, so why shouldn't I be allowed in the group? |

I have been trying without success for weeks to access the site and try to get invited to join the group. Can anyone shed some light?
Each time I try to get on the site, I get the following message: "This content is currently unavailable The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." Many thanks. |

I've bought several books, including some high ticket items, through SME from various members and had great experiences. I always go through PayPal.
Twice there have been signicificant delays due to the postal system and both times the members I bought from were great with communicating with me and Doing what they could to track down the package. |
