... AND IT IS GREAT!
This effect is now a fixed part of my close-up set!! It never leaves my close-up bag. I love it! The gimmick are so very clever and simple. I have been performing it day after day. I even performed it this past weekend (and I mean performed it ... not demonstrated it) at Joker Gone Wild - a small close-up, invitation-only magic gathering held in Ohio. It is very easy to learn. It requires no sleight of hand ... just one nano-second of misdirection. The DVD shows you two presentations for the effect. I prefer the first. I changed to handling of the deck and gimmicks slightly to accomplish two things - 1) to remove the need for the moment of misdirection and 2) to involve the helper (aka spectator) more in the effect. I even place the gimmicks in their hands without them ever being aware. In my altered handling the deck is slightly dirty but I feel it's worth it for what I gain in the perception the helper has earlier in the presentation. I did it twice for my wife (once using the original handling and again using my altered handling). Both times she was blown away. I would highly recommend getting this effect. Perform it only if you want people to look at you in wonder.
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic
