I'm curious about combining a UCCU with a magicy-gimmick wallet. That way the card can be in a sealed compartment, envelope etc.
Any recommendations or thoughts about which wallets would or would not work? |

By under cover, I mean inside your jacket for a breast pocket style, or behind your back as you reach for a hip pocket style wallet. There are some exceptions such as the Mullica or Bendix Bombshell and others which are loaded secretly while in full view. The UCCU is basically a hold-out device meant to be used while in shirt sleeves, and which also eliminates p*lming. In fact wearing a jacket might even hinder its use to some extent. If you know workings of the UCCU, you would understand why most "load under cover" style wallets would be wasted with it. In other words, you would not be able to use the UCCU to take advantage of the loading operation of most of those styles of wallets. I think this is what Merc Man is referring to. You might combine the UCCU with a Mullica, but in my opinion, the extra handling and cost simply wouldn't be worth it. I hope that is clear without revealing too much. Cheers

Both the Mark 1 and Mark 2 wallets are the same size, namely:
Length : 15 cms (6 inches) Width: 10 cms (4 inches) Thickness: 1.5 cms (0.6 inch) - when fully loaded with slide/ envelope, and a few personal items/cash inside Hope that helps.

I have the UCCU and TKO2.0
I understand that most wallet loads rely on cover from the pocket, or at least reaching behind you to your back pocket. The UCCU/TKO load relies on cover from e.g. the wallet, packet of Doritos, whatever. My completely sensible question is are there any card-to-wallets that could provide a reasonable amount of cover to be loaded straight from the UCCU? The signature effect of the UCCU was signed card to any spectator's wallet, but perhaps that's a bit too magical for a mentalist presentation. I might then want to produce my "prediction" from a sealed envelope in my wallet. Reasonable? UCCU helps avoid reaching for your wallet with a palmed card... not sure why I need to explain why that might be good. |
