I am trying to get hold of this routine as a present for my grandchild.
It's an old, inexpensive routine. Three cards a shown. All have a hole through the centre. A split pin is pushed through the cards. However, the centre card can be instantly removed and shown. I just cannot remember what the effect is called .. can anyone help me out here please regards, WulfieSmith |

In the trick "In Over His Head" from the e-Book "I STILL Hate Card Tricks" by B. Robert Pulver, the old trick has been given a new look and new mystery since the cards are bolted together. This is good news since it's getting harder to find those old brass split pins, and a good solid bolt from the local hardware store, along with some washers and a wing-nut to make it easy on - easy off really does look more like a real escape. His version can also be examined and you can give the cards away, still bolted together if you wish and if you have a rich uncle in the hardware business.
