I saw an ad in Genii many years ago on how to do a routine with the Old Tablecloth trick. I goes into detail about weight and items to use. Does anyone remember this and is it still available somewhere.
P.S. I know how to do the basics, but this routine that was offered seem more complex. |

I had to do this for a movie once (St Ives with Richard E Grant). We used three different methods to ensure everything on the table stayed in place - the traditional, magnets, and invisible threads. It looked great on a big screen.
As for the kid in the first video, he was fine. It was staged - look at the way he fell so carefully.
