Hi Guys,
I stumbled upon an opened and unopened Mystery China Box. The opened one doesn't have an instruction manual and I don't want to open the other one just for that. Is there somebody who could send me a copy of this? Thanks! Peter |

Shoot me a message with your e-mail address, if you still need a copy. Interesting conondrum... 1 open with no instructions and 1 sealed with the instructions trapped inside!

Hi,
MCB is probably the scarcest modern era Tenyo (I consider this to be any Tenyo T-series effect produced in the 80s and beyond) effect ever made. Consider yourself extremely lucky to have two. I have a gem mint Japanese version (Richard let me know if you want light box photos for your book or to borrow it for any photography, I LIVE IN DC). I believe the Japanese version might be even scarcer than the English version. MCB was always scarce BTW, even its first year out. -Tom |

You live in DC? Cool. I'm up the red line.

There is one on Feebay right now up to $338 with 30 minutes to go. If this is a legit auction, this is nice to see. MCB is tougher to come by than The Haunting which I feel people typically overpay for.

I've got friends in the UK who accept a package for me, but I'm not bidding. No need to be greedy.

$338 is outrageous! I'm glad I bought this when it first came out. It is a fun, well-made trick, but I can't believe anyone paying that much for it.

MCB BTW is pretty much unanimously considered a superior trick to The Haunting and look at what people pay for it and I believe MCB to be scarcer to boot. -Tom |

I'm not used to have spares in my collection but for just a few carefully selected tricks I do: _ Mystery China Box. _ Tricky Business. _ Midas Machine. _ Mira Metal. _ President's Cabinet _ Prison Box _ 4D Surprise _ Ultraslice. That's all.....as you see most of them mechanical gems that I like to play with and that could be damaged in the future because of hard use. |

If you actually bought a MCB JP version for 45 USD, you literally stole it!
I bought mine from Hitomi 2 years ago for $100+!! It's very scarce, NOT RARE, but definitely scarce. |
