I was performing the bitten loony in my high school and many people who I showed thought it was fake, or paper, or even chocolate. If I try to prove to them that it isn't cardboard or if its two stuck together, they figure it out...is there a way of hiding the slit around the edge of the loony? any ideas?

That's easy my friend! Simply have a real Loony in your right hand finger palmed, then do a Bobo switch tossing the finger palmed coin into your left hand while retaining your folding coin in your right and hand them the coin with your left hand. While they are examining the coin you can casually deposit any number of ways, leave in the pocket as you get out a deck of cards or prop for another trick, or you can casually step back and drop it in you rear pocket, or you can tuck it in the waist of your pants as you casually pull them up a little, or you can do a pitch and ditch move which you can learn from the Gregory Wilson, "On the Spot" videos.
Hope that helps!

I've fooled around with having a real loony, but I neve thought of that! I think it'll help...I oculd also ask for a loony and then switch it. Thanx!

Hahah, its okay don't worry. I'm from CANADA and the canadian currency has a loony coin (one dollar) wich is equivalent to a U.S. dollar bill, and a toony which is presumably a two dollar coin...as you can buy a folding american quater, you can also buy folding lonnies and toonys. Now you know!
