I have this and it is very well made and does exactly what it says. Strips any type of invisible thread onto a spool.
I know many people will say they can strip thread by hand and I agree. People will also say it is very expensive, yes it is. Some will say you don't need this tool to do thread work. Yup, you don't. Why do I like it? I can do really long threads without having to walk across the room. The thread is on a spool and won't get tangled. Winding on a card always gets tangled for me. The spool is much better. I also use it to load elastic thread onto a spool [it will not strip elastic thread, only store it] The video download has several tricks that are great. The page turning effect is not included, but John told me how to do it. Not easy actually. I don't like the price of the extra spools. I will probably try to make an adapter to fit a regular spool onto the winder. I also hoped for more tricks by John, I know he has a bunch of thread work he is holding back [tricky John Kennedy] but, that is his business. All in all, I am happy with the Terrific Invisible Thread System. I will use it all the time and it will be worth my investment. James
