That soup sounds great. I love cooking soup with kale in it. I'll often make an Italianish tomato based soup with spicy turkey sausage, beans, kale, and tons of vegetables. Sometimes with pasta. Kind of a spin off of wedding soup.

It's nice. Try it. I'm betting you'll like it. Your Italianish soup seems very similar to the Portugese thing and I may go for that too. I like the pasta touch.
