Let me take a moment to say thank you to all our military veterans.

Its been nearly 30 years since my army days, but on days like today I do take a moment and relive some of the fond memories of those times in my noodle (wow, its been a while, I am even getting up there in years with the American Legion membership). I think of the benji (spelling?) ditches in Korea, old Fort Dix, 7 cases of beer on the ration control plate, etc. I also take a moment to reflect on those who could not be here to share this day.

Add my good wishes, and sincere "thank you" to all those men and women who served, or are now serving, in the military!

Leslie and I send our heartfelt thanks to all our brave men and women for their courage and selfless service. Very inspiring story about wounded veterans from the Today show this morning:

Thanks for the food reminder, I scarfed down a thank you
lunch at Applebees, after watching Ender's Game with a free
Voucher from marching in the military parade.

I enjoyed complimentary dinner at The Olive Garden, just
before my nightcap free tea at Starbucks.

I am very appreciative of all the fine citizens
Of this great country.

P.s. I left great tips for all the servers

And ya know what Devious? All the fine citizens of this great country appreciate veterans like you.

And if they don't, then they are definitely not fine citizens. Smile

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

Back at ya magicgettogether, check out some of the other vets threads in here; in particular the one where a few of us pine for SOS they way it should be done. I've tried and I just can't get it to taste as good as it was back then.

In order to get SOS just right you need a can of spackling paste.

Thank you for the well wishes, but I just don't think I'd be happy with a VD. Smile
