There have been a few Bicycle "Metallic" card decks released to date. The "Gold & Silver Prestige Line" comes to mind right away. Excellent cards, but just the backs were made with metallic ink. The "Titanium Edition," featuring the "Steel Blue" or "Crimson Red" colour option were also top- notch playing cards. The titanium edition also had the added bonus of the court cards being metallic. All these decks are mildly metallic & very subtle in nature. The cardsharps I've spoken with are still awaiting the truly shiny & shimmering metallic Bicycle deck to appear. The glistening effect of "Color Monte" faces would be a good example of what is wanted by many. Why has this never been produced or marketed? Is it something that sounds good in theory, but would be overkill in practice?
