Looks pretty good.
Lift Levitate borrowed objects above your hand without the use of threads, wires, or magnets Effect: The performer freely shows a playing and holds it their hand. The card visibly begins to take flight and it floats up and down over the Magician's hand, it sways side to side, it flutters and even wobbles as if resting on a cushion of air. The card floats back to their hand and shown free of any gimmickry. Lift uses no special rings, threads, wires, or magnets of any kind. It's ready to go at all times and requires no set up. Peter's clever new method has very good viewing angles and makes for a great visual party trick. LIFT comes with special gimmick and detailed instruction booklet. |

I like it. It (I think) uses a principle I have played with before. This is good leading to something else, like a stronger levitation. Price ain't bad either!

Usually, when you see an ad for a close-up levitation that contains " no special rings, threads, wires, or magnets of any kind," all you have to do is think of what wasn't mentioned. For example, a thumb tip, finger tip, piece of celluloid, etc. Even a piece of hair would qualify. It's all about the ad being technically accurate. Note that it doesn't say that there is NO connection of any kind to the card.

Golly another one for the hard of thinking.
If I couldn't go to my toolbox or crafts drawer and recreate this in 30 minutes I would pack it in. Surely this is the kind of thing people just do when they're experimenting with floating cards etc. As an effect, a quick party trick, it's nice..but no one should need to buy something like this. |

Looks totally un.-natural to me anyway. Another release for the sake of releasing something.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

The video doesn't do this one justice.
Person to person, this one looks killer.

I received mine. I tried it and like the idea. But in order for the gimmick to work for me I would have to do some modification. And I don't know if I will. If I did- yes- I think it would fly nicely. One thing I really like is the one side angle you show- the spectator actually sees under the card and it looks like there is nothing under it. The actual levitating of the card is very easy. You can levitate other objects such as phones, card boxes etc.... If I get ambitious I will modify the gimmick. If I don't I will sell it. But with a correct gimmick that suits the person using it I think this could be good. I am not a big fan of buying a trick in which you have to do modifications as I don't have much time. But if the effect is worth it then the time must be made, lol.
Is it practical? In one aspect it is very practical. In an other sense- a little less practical. But that's all I can say without exposing the method. RNK

Just came across this old thread and thought I give it a try. What happened to the effect? It's not available anymore?!
