I wonder how expensive over expensive is ? I expect like everything it will eventually be affordable.

It should be rather cheap, when it goes into full production. I heard about something similar, grown to replace batteries and solar panels - cheaper and better than solar panels.
Until then, triple velvet does a great job. |

This may be a good alternative, and it is cheap enough for testing purposes:

The perfect material is the same as your backdrop. Usually that's triple velvet but not always. It's the lighting that's the factor more than the material.

Looks great but I will stick to black velvet until their prices come down.
Not to change the subject but does anyone know if Dondrake is still doing black art in Las Vegas. Haven't heard from him in years.
