Why wait for the phone to ring? Take your show to the people. In this week's podcast of The Magic Word, I chat with Erik Dobell and Chris Collins about their business model for success. They merged their talents to put together a successful, full evening stage show. But they didn't stop there. That was only the beginning. They looked for venues to perform that show, then produced and marketed their way to booking a succession of dates throughout North Carolina. There is also a short promotional video on The Magic Word that shows you something about their show.
This podcast is not about promoting their show, Impossibilities, but rather, how you can follow their suggestions and employ some or all of their ideas to put together your own show and take it on the road. This podcast include lots of suggested websites where you can go to get rack cards printed, free websites built, posters made, and much more. It's all here and ready for you to learn at: http://themagicwordpodcast.com/scottwell......together You can listen online or download the MP3 file or get it in the Podcast shop of iTunes.
