Great suggestions above. I’d also recommend Stars of Magic, Roy Benson By Starlight, Williamson’s coin effects: think most are in Williamson’s Wonders, Magic by Gosh, Amateur Magicians Handbook. And the Ramsay material.
The modern blockings offer some great lessons on modern framing, misdirection, blocking and structure. The ones I mention above offer breadth. |
