Some things are funny to kids: bananas, a smelly whatever (socks, shoes, armpits etc.) and the mention of underwear as well as the actual object, among others. I have 2 underwear routines in my shows. In one, I magically produce a giant pair of boxer shorts with sponge pants Bob's picture on them along with some other funny items. In the other, I do 20th century silks except a pair of ridiculous looking boxer shorts with red hearts on them appear between the silks in lieu of the expected, vanished 3rd silk. (I don't tuck the tied ends of the 20th century silks in the top of anyone's pants--I simply place them in a cup held by a helper.) I pretend in both routines that the tricks have gone wrong when the underwear appear, claim the underwear as being my own and accuse the kids of tricking me and messing me up. The kids love it and I get huge laughs. Although I know many magicians have reservations about the use of underwear, I don't--they fit my style of children's comedy magic and I feel very comfortable with the way I use them.

Professor Cheer and Qua-Fiki's variation on it "Professor Cheeky-Fiki's Patriotic Rope Trick" - always funny with the right kind of boxer shorts. https://www.magicnook.com/WizJ22/wizj22-......Rope.htm
