So very sorry to hear from MagicBob about the passing away of Tina Weber on September 28 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. She suffered a fall last week Wednesday and her two sons and long time FCMer and husband P.J. Weber were near her side when she died. Many of you may know P.J. and Tina- they have attended many annual FCM conventions and Abbott's Get-Togethers in Colon. P.J. has been featured on the cover of "The Christian Conjurer" and is a full time magician. Tina's funeral is today, October 2, at 1:00pm at the Ada Christian Reformed Church in Ada, Michigan. The funeral will be conducted by Bob Zoerman who is also an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church.

I have fond memories of going to dinner with P.J. and Tina before going to see David Copperfield perform on the campus of Western Michigan University. Tina was a joy for P.J.- it is rare indeed to have a loving spouse who also loves magic and is actively involved with her magician hubby in his performing and in their local IBM Ring (#211 in Grand Rapids). Such a sad loss, she was a dear saint.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
