Hi, Mr. Asher, I've just bought your Five Card Stud video; it is wonderful!
But I have a few problems about the tricks in it. In the Silver Surfer, how can you keep the triple, so it does not separate? In the Ambitious Explosion, how can you make the card stick to your thumb? Did you use some wax? Please give me a few tips about it. Many many thanks!! |

When you lift the triple, bend the cards so they surf on a little bend in the cards. As for the card sticking to the thumb, it can be done with the natural moistness of the hand, but if you have dry hands, rub your teeth with your thumb before the explosion and you'll get good results

DeuceMC speaks the truth....
Make sure when you spread the cards over to form the spread for the triple to slide down, you have a Greek Break / Flesh Break between the deck and the triple. Click the link below to see a photo of what I mean http://www.leeasher.com/pages/surfer.htm It's also important to put a bow in the triple so that later on when they go to slide down the spread, they won’t split. The Silver Surfer takes a bit of practice……keep playing with it! If you are interested, I have some Real Media of me do the face-down version of the Silver Surfer.
