I just noticed that the Flipper Half Dollar Pro Gravity (D0089)by Mr. Tango has been discontinued. And as far as I know, Johnson does not manufacture any gravity flipper coin.
So where can I get a clad Kennedy Gravity Flipper coin? I just need a clad kennedy half dollar gravity flipper, not the silver one (Year 1964). From the catalog of Todd Lassen and Schoolcraft, they just offer the silver one... |

I would CALL Todd. He has a line of clad gaffs. I forget how to find them but you could start with his https://coolotis.wordpress.com/

Mark Mason / Bob Swadling Next Generation Flipper (NGF): http://www.jbtvusa.com/latest-j-b-produc......-73-.php Note: The NGF flippers while "gravity", are not "internal band", so viewed on-edge the groove can be seen. Not a general concern as they're not generally displayed/handled in a way that would make that a problem. |

Actually, I was thinking it was an Ike he was looking for. Mine are Morgan, Walker and Quarter. I don't use Kennedy so at times I don't put 2 & 2 together there. I know it says Kennedy but my mind is playing tricks on me a lot lately. (and NO, this is not the time for everyone to remind me about the money they "lent me" last week). (I am currently going thru a lot of testing) but that is a whole nother thing.
Yes, you are absolutely correct as I swear by my Mark Mason / Bob Swadling gaffs and it is in fact a "gravity flipper" (with a magnet if you later may need one). The OP does mention Todd though and I do stand by my post if you really really want a Lassen product over a Mason / Swadling (I use both myself and like both makers equally.) Thanks for the save though Inigmntoya, Mark was just telling me thanks for all the referrals on the phone a week or so ago when I made a small custom order from him. He said he was very surprised how many people call him to order and mention that one of my posts sent them his way.

Thank you very much for your advice, Poof-Daddy and inigmntoya!
Just think of an alternative , can a standard type flipper be turned into gravity type just be loosening the tension of the elastic band? |

Anyone know for sure that Johnson does NOT make a gravity flipper? (Or should I just go ahead and contact them directly)
Thanks for any info. -Paul |

You can replace the rubber band that comes with a standard type flipper by getting the same size rubber band in a lighter force. These rubber bands are easily available from an orthodontist. An elastic band IMO is superior to a rubber band as it isn't affected by "the elements" as rubber bands are. |

Roy also has a 'pro' gravity flipper in 'common' kennedy halves for $68
