I downloaded a TelePrompter app for practicing a new routine.
I wrote a comedy script for a newly purchased ”Peanut Butter and Jelly" trick. I'm using a current event theme (Transgender identity) referring to Bruce Jenner, Donald Trump and President Obama. The script is pretty long but it's still a work in progress and I am changing it as I practice. Anyway, the TelePrompter app is a great tool to help in learning my patter and the moves. You can adjust the speed of the roll to suit you. Of course I have to practice without the TelePrompter when I'm ready but it's a quicker process now.

I shoot video and overlay it with the script AND prompts for technical routines, This movie goes on my phone.
So as the music plays I can look on my table and see where I should be, in the routine. I’ve only done this for a few routines but they are complicated and timing is important.

Jay,
I shoot video and edit as well. I applaud you for that project. I can appreciate the amount of work and time involved. I would think that by the time all is done, you don't need the prompter .

I understand. I also only use the prompter only for practice.
I was referring to all the work involved in shooting the video, typing the script, overlaying, editing, converting, etc. By the time you do all that, the script may be implanted in your brain.
