Hi everybody,
Here is an interesting question. How do you practice routines that cannot be done alone? Do you have a significant other or friend who you let in on the secrets to help you rehearse? Or do you rehearse on your own and in your head? I have to suppose that some card workers have the same issue. Force a card on yourself?

I have to admit, the Mrs. is awfully tired of me constantly approaching her with ropes, chains, locks, etc. and my never ending rehearsal rquests.
Not to mention our kids' "get a room" comments.

My wife is also a performer so she does not mind helping me rehearse.

I locked myself in a device that prevents almost any movement or the arms, legs and head. The lock was under my chin.
My choice was to inch my way out the door and have a neighbor help or use a vice grip, put a key in that, put the vice grip in the opening of a file cabinet or door jam, and take the lock to the, key as it were. Then there was the issue of putting the lock over the key and turning it even though I couldn’t see what I was doing. It could have been 15 minutes os waddling and then embarrassment or an hour and a half and the satisfaction that I did it myself. I did it myself.
