In the current issue of Interview magazine, Judd Apatow sits down with David Copperfield who reveals -- among other things -- why he didn't want Jerry Seinfeld as his opening act.

That was an interesting read. I love learning about what made help shaped these performers into what they are today. It's funny, I actually offered similar advice to someone in a different thread a little while ago, stating, if you really want to learn you should just go to a theatre and watch, and watch, and offer to help, and watch and offer to help, eventually someone will take you up on your offer. Similar to what Copperfield did with the silk thing at the theatre.
I never knew David had such a history in theatre/ stage prior to his magic, and it definitely shows in his performance/acting.
