What props do you always carry-on you ready to perform in a moments notice.

Nothing, generally. My "go to" work involves no props.

I don't want to be THAT kind of magician. I carry nothing for that very reason.

That's doesn't mean I don't get asked occasionally but when I do, and if I do, it would be with magic with "found items".
Learning to do that, on the spot, is not super difficult but does take some thought and practice.
I much prefer this for 'magic at a moment's notice'.

Audiences definitely notice the impromptu nature, which adds to the impossibility of it all.

Imagine doing a torn and restored napkin trick where you're the guy who brings magic stuff, compared to someone who does the same thing and brought nothing.

The magic factor will be far greater for the guy who brings no props.

It can be argued that "if the audience never sees your prop" then it's the same as if you don't bring any (such as a TT) and that is true... but I'd rather force myself
to get good at performing something on the spot with no brought props at all.

I never perform unless I'm working.

I do more than 300 shows per year, so when I have time off, I take it!

I agree with the Witch Doctor, Ambitious card, and cbbuy.

Very occasionally, I MAY have a TT.
