Well Thanks but I cant take all the credit. There are several people working on this. And all the editors will be credited in the end. I do need more information on several names. This is where the folks that just remember a name or details come in. I am shocked on how little information is out there even on well known names. Cant find a thing on Mikame history just to name one.

I think the digital age is slapping us in the butt. A lot of magic history, especially this obscure history, is in print or written form only. And that information is stored or forgotten in places that may never be known. Since collectors of rare magic props are few and far between, and the creators of said props are even fewer, one can assume that the number of those who keep information pertaining to these creators is far less.
So basically Gimpy, you've assigned yourself a really shi**y homework assignment.

Well I cant complain about the digital age. In the early 80s most of my spare time was spent in the library doing research for debate. Countless hours reading government documents on micro film just to find that one quote to prove one little piece of my case. Back then it would have taken years to compile what has been done here in a few weeks. Having a fun time with this project and have learned so much.

Good points Gimpy. I wouldn't turn the clock back either.
Just saying that a lot of this rare historical reference is either buried in someone's attic and not cared about, or gone forever due to family members thinking it was all just useless paperwork. I keep thinking about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRP0MBNoieY

As mentioned, much of this information is in books and old magazines. It will take years for me to run down the simple info I want on every name. I doubt if its something that will ever be complete. There are several names on just this thread that are the only record of their existance on the internet.
