Mike Hammer has been "hammering it out" in downtown Las Vegas for years, quietly working and gaining a good reputations. Mike has been performing in the Four Queens Casino on Freemont Street for at least five years and not only hosts his own show, but also produces an Elvis impersonator show that follows his own comedy act. Mike admits that his type of "insult comedy magic" isn't for everyone, but you can't judge that from the packed crowds he pulls night after night. And many of his fans return multiple (and I mean dozens) of times.

In this podcast, Mike talks about developing his humor and why it works for him. He discusses character development and creativity in your magic show and how the focus should be on the performer and not the props. This was a delightful chat and although this was our first meeting, we became fast friends. I think you will like him, too, after you listen to this week's podcast.
