I was going through my magic stuff and came across a deck where every other card was double faced.
The double faced cards had one Pip with an Ace of Diamonds and the diagonal pip was different. Middle of card is blank. Flip the card over and the other side was the full face of the diagonal pip. Every other card is a normal card. The box has a price tag of $27.50. I believe this was bought in the early 1990s and it's got to be some sort of force deck and/or a trick I can't remember. Any ideas? |

Maybe a Monte Cristo Deck?

I don't think it's Monte Cristo Deck. Here is an image of 4 cards front and back.

Are the cards Svengali cut or R/S in any way?

NO, they aren't either short nor R&S.
I came up with an effect last night but I have no idea if this was the intended idea. Although it does look pretty cool and the deck looks pretty smart I'd like to know what the real effect is. |

By the way it looks, I think it was for a gambling routine. I have no idea on how you could handle it. I could imagine the plot being similar to Heritage by Daniel Madison.

After research I believe it's called, "Kuniyasu Fujiwara's Fade-In Deck". But I do not have the instructions and desperate for the instructions on how the original routine works.
