Hello
I have a question. What name is the following things: Two years ago in TV I saw magician which perform effect with sign on playing card and in the end of trick he say "I collect autographs" and after that he remove signature from card. Signature changed to "thread" and he pull one end of that and remove all signature. So my questions are: 1. Is that marker exist? 2. What name have this marker? 3. Where I can buy this marker?
Greetings from Poland

That sounds like Dave Williamson and that effect is in the book, Williamson's Wonders (don't know if it is still in print, though). BTW, it isn't a special marker...

Hmm I think this has been discussed on the Café previously, do a search.
Anyway, there is a switch involved, you put the chemical/solution onto a card in whatever pattern you want, and you can remove it later. I believe it is similer to a thin tape type substance, but I've never actually played with the stuff personally. No magic shops will carry the stuff, you have to look online for something called "letraline". You may have also seen David Copperfield performing Torn Asunder... |

It is not a chemical. It is a designers or draftsman tape. It is available from art supply stores. There are a number of companies that sell/manufacture this tape. It is used to put sharp black lines on layout work.
Do to computers now being used, I do not know if it is still available. Lectraset is a canada company. |

I just use electrical tape, cut into a thin strip.

I thought that it is special marker which I can remove from card. MacGyver: It wasn't Copperfield. It was program with magicians and princes but I didn't remember a title.

Champions of magic
51 cards to pocket performed for the Princess (I forget her name) I imagine it was Williamson performing, but I could be wrong about that part.
