Have you seen it? Pretty cool! Looks a little "Empire-ish" if you know what I mean... really dramatic. I can't wait! I took my son to see Monsters and there it was the full trailer..... very cool.
Thank you,

John Zander

I heard they are remaking it so it makes the scene of Mace Windu fighting in the rain look more real. Like the rain drops bouncing off of the lightsabers.

Can't wait Smile

In the years between we lost Carrie Fisher and today the guy who played Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew). Nice to see the Palpatine is back.

Peter Mayhew actually passed away on April 30, 2019. Some people are talking about it on Facebook, etc., like it was today or yesterday.

Kenny Baker, who played R2D2 in 6 of the theatrical movies (and was one of the Ewoks), passed away in August 2016. So, he's another one gone.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Emperor Palpatine factors into "The Rise of Skywalker." It's the same actor (Ian McDiarmid). He actually made a cameo on stage after the trailer was first shown at Chicago Star Wars Celebration back in mid-April (around the 2 minute mark in this first video):

I should think they would vaporize. The blade of the lightsaber should be steaming with vaporized raindrops.
