Very whimsical way to use Quinta with a double climax to boot. Mathematical tools like Quinta need a good presentation to be effective and Sudo provides that with this routine.

I just received this from Sudo and immediately went through the PDF file.
Sudo has created another winner. As I was reading it, I wondered how to locate the selection after the spectator mixed up the cards, and then I smiled when I read how nicely Sudo took care of it. It's a wonderful routine and it's perfect for Quinta. Amazing work Sudo. Thank you for sharing it with me. |

When I pm-ed Sudo for this routine, I had forgotten I'd already seen his proposal but hadn't answered it because I didn't know Quinta. So on receiving Sudo's document, my first move was to go out and get Phill Smith's lecture.
So now, I do know that clever method "Quinta" (at least the part Phill Smith explains in the lecture) and am finally able to have a full view of The mindreading frog. Firstly, I would like to say I don't feel that Quinta is "too mathematical". My own personal opinion of course, but I've been using such ways of forcing for years and as long as it doesn't last hours, it's efficient and entertaining enough (at any rate, not boring). Quinta is a particularily simple and quick method, that doesn't need to be "dressed up" as much as other methods would. Sudo's idea desses it up anyway, and in a very entertaining fashion. It does make a lot of sense, presentation-wise, as his ideas usually do! To boot, that routine has all the features of a simple, entertaining and sturdy routine professionals like. And you leave a souvenir. Another good job from Sudo ! Congratulations sir, and thank you for sharing that !

And THIS (!) is why I love finding people I trust.
I would have never gone near this, based on description alone. Btw, taking leaps of faith occasionally, has truly paid off for me. If I enjoy 98% of someones releases, regardless of my first impression, I'll now give that other 2% a go. I had no idea, some of the stuff I was missing out on. 252DeadBrainCells Back to Mr Brooks Knights Tour....put a fork in me, I'm done

I own every work of his, I would recommend it all. He doesn't put out junk for a quick buck.
He's read about everything, and sees between the cracks to form utterly reasonable conclusions every time. I'd be hard pressed to improve something he's put his mind to. Sounds like big talk, but I owe him for his wisdom on what is truly important here. Skim it down and look at its parts, take what you need and remember the rest. Elegant minimalism |

This is a great way to use Quinta. I haven't been able to try it out on a regular participant yet but have tried it out on the wife and several friends, goes over really well, who doesn't love a little frog. Thanks Sudo!

I have been a great fan of Phill's Quinta and have used it successfully in several different routines. And Sudo's idea is genuinely nice and delightful. Refreshing even.
Lovely thinking. Thanks Sudo |

Sudo was extremely friendly and sent this effect to me. You do need to know the Quinta procedure, but as a 4th grade teacher, Quinn makes the count a wonderful thing to learn. I dabble in mental magic, but to me, the story and procedure should never outweigh the effect. Quinn is both fun to perform and the reactions are wonderful. In fact, the adults were even more amazed at the climax. Thanks for this effect and the thought you put into it. I agree with NeilS...lovely thinking!

Really happy to hear that you put this to work immediately Lou, and that it has been getting wonderful reactions for you.
And thank-you too, to everyone else for the compliments and taking the time to post your thoughts here. I hope you all have great fun with this. I like to share things that I *know* people are going to use. There's nothing nicer than knowing that some of my "children" are out there entertaining people and living vicariously through the hands of others. |

I have been a great fan of Phill's Quinta and have used it very often.
Your routine Sudo is a very clever application of the Quinta technique. A great kicker ending. Thanks for sharing! Best wishes. Herbert |
