Hey there everybody
i'm from germany an I guess I can say "new" to magic I started handling with cards at the end of march, when I finished my studying. I thought of getting more fine motor skills in my fingers would be a great addition for my fire arts. I am a fire-spinner, -juggler, -eater, -breather, -"magician" (i play fire levistick and rope dart - mostly with the second hand for illusions) and I try every fire prop I can get in my hands when getting used to my first card tricks and card magic I stumbled over the ellusionist videos and the page - and because I wanted the Pyro when it first hit the internet I was finally ordering a pyro mini and some other "magician-stuff" (first balls, loops, coin gimmicks etc). It feels like an addiction - but a good one i am performing magic mostly in close-up situations on festivals and for people on partys or just in the train while travelling - combining the "magic" of breaking the laws of physics-juggling and afterwards the close up magic. while most of my juggling isn't putting routine on routine, I try doing the same with my magic. And last weekend was the first time I was able to combine several parts out of different routines to improvise and make a flow of magic which felt awesome i've got a daughter of seven years, she was gifted a kids magician box last year and now it is really hard to fool her, because she is not shy and what she doesn't already know, she really wants to know - even if she tries to turn around all of my cards ^^ but yeah, I am getting better, more chances to fool her and more stuff for her to learn and realize and now I'm goin to order my venom (just cancelled my T2 order) - in big hope, that I can work with it with my "unususal" clothing of a fire artist, juggle and sort of steampunk-gypsy xD while my spinning is not majestic or noble - it is more a dirty and harashh beat driven juggling, my magic is some sort of the same - rythmic and confused (and I love the reactions of the ppl while I am almost "cryin" because I cannot shuffle, make so much "mistakes" and stuff^^). that's why my magic needs to fit me - durable and maybe dirty |

Welcome kruzifixium,
And my best to your Daughter. Be sure and teach her public Magic etiquette while still enjoying her critical skills at home. You can help each other a lot. I'm not familiar with the word harashh. It that a type of Music? Shuffling is easy, (not shuffling is hard). Be safe. -Mary Mowder |
