Here in Europe we don't use as much abbreviations as in the States. I have Devin Knight's Jumbo Backstage Monte and it says that it's perfect for MC's. What does MC stand for in magic? Master of Cards? Probably not as this is gimmicked trick.

I'm thinkin' they mean it's a perfect effect for a Master of Ceremonies to perform due to the jumbo size.

Many shows have a Master of Ceremonies, and if that person (who introduces the various acts) is also a magician, then he or she will be looking for magic effects that are quick and easy to do, short and to the point. Usually the MC has to "kill" time to allow the stage to be set between acts to effects which can vary in length from a few seconds to several minutes are desirable. If you go to a magicians' convention, you will probably see a Magic Master of Ceremonies introducing the magic acts at the big event shows. In that case, the MC is looking for unique magic effects that are not likely to be used by any other magicians in the show.

Actually, the correct spelling of it in that usage is - "emcee"
https://www.google.com/search?q=emcee&rl......ie=UTF-8 I used to be a full time magic bartender at a rock bar (S-F) / comedy club (on weekends F&S) and I was the one who emcee'd the comedy shows.

Emcee. I saw it in an easy trick which was actually more like a gag and was "perfect for emcees".

No idea what the context is, but lots of folks here like to try to obfuscate with abbreviations or ellipses. It could stand for "marked card(s)".
