Example: the bunnies, chop cup, sponges .... I really wish that the topic question was ‘which routine would you use’. The routine means more than the trick.
I think that, you would also have a number of questions about the audience and the set up. |

Warren .... judging from the number of people that have answered your original post, this was an excellent topic. My post was not meant as a criticism, but just thinking out loud about what came to my mind as I was writing.

The trick you perform expertly that consistently gets you the best reactions is the one you do.
For me, when I worked a restaurant, the effects that fit that bill would be my sponge balls routine, Crazy Man's handcuffs followed by CMH with twist and finishing with the rubber band up the nose (yes, up the nose) and Red Hot Mamma.
