Do you add any Halloween effects during the month of October ?
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.

My Halloween tricks are....
(1) Sugar Rush. I have a routine about giving out Halloween candy, but it's "special magic candy", etc (2) David Parr's "A Game of Life and Death" about a card game between Death and a potential victim. (3) A version of the mind-reading trick "Andante", which I tweak slightly into a "Vampire Hunt." Andante is a stunning trick built on the premise that the magician can detect a murderer. I slightly change it for Halloween into a trick about finding a vampire. "White Star" is also good for Halloween, but usually in informal settings. Happy to share more details, if anyone's interested. |

I usually dress up the cadavers at their funeral during the week of Halloween and do funeral parlor tricks for the mourning guests. After last year, I always ask the family what characters they would prefer their loved one dressed as. Obviously some are a bit sensitive to Zombie costumes and skeletons.

I do but only in spirit cabinet routines and seances. Cesarals Spirit Bell, Flash Tray and flash paper, Spiritus Abucus and David Powell Slates, Gyre, invisible thread.
I’m looking to add Spirit Sounds and witchboard. I thought that I had found the same folding chair that was used in Derren Browns Spirit Cabinet Routine during the Enigma Stage Show. I thought I saved the link but I don’t have it. If anyone knows the special chair I’m looking for can you send me the link please? |

I found the chair I was looking for. The website is called hypnoticeyesite.com. Has anyone heard of this site, or ordered from them before? I am now skeptical of websites that look very simple and low budget since The Great Cahyo at eastern-shaman.com ended up being a con. If anyone has a review or some experience with this company can you please post here? The chair would be an excellent addition to the seance routine I put on. Thanks!

If you are looking for Halloween effects, you MUST see Geist for a ghostly touch (ANY chair, sets up in 30 seconds); the Spectral Wind (haunted wind chimes) and Death Toll (haunted hotel bell). And that's just a start. Cheers.

I like to do more witchcraft themed magic during October. Some of my favourites are Witches Almanac, Schuldig and an Okito Doll effect.

This year, at the Discount Funeral Home and Culinary Science School, Halloween coincides with our 'Ain't Death Great!" Annual Festival, so we will celebrate with a demonstration and sales display by several embalmers and funeral suppliers for the adults, and for the kids we will have the 'Casket Peek-A-Boo', 'Embalming relay Race', and the usual 'Trick or Treat' from the cadaver's hand. We will also serve coffee and tea from the repossessed urns and cookies baked in the crematorium. It is a fun time for all, both living and dead.
