I'm going to invest in some really good Chinese Sticks. I just like the stick and I've found laymen are completely fooled by them.
Does anyone have an good ideas for a routine? I've seen a few obviously but if you've had a an idea and maybe not followed it through I'd be interested. Just to get me thinking out of the box. H |

I have a set of custom-made Kovari Sticks, and yes, they are beautiful.......BUT........I would not necessarily say they are THE BEST. I also own a set of Okito/Nielsen sticks and a set of wood-finished George Milward-made sticks and those are magnificently made IF you choose to do the Benson Routine. In my Opinion, The hardest part of doing the Chinese Sticks is doing it in an entertaining fashion, with a beginning, middle and end! I think too many magicians worry too much about props......and too little about ENTERTAINING. ENTERTAINING is what it's all about! |

Well, I own a stage size set of Brema sticks, and, a stage size set of Silent Mora's. I've never used them.
I pretty much agree with Rainbowguy.....only, I think MINE are the best (hee hee)! The mechanics, of course, are ultra simple. The problem is, that, because the mechanics are so simple, few magicians ever analyze how to DO them!

Martin Lewis "Making Magic 1". You make them and has the best ending built in.
