Hi All,
I'm starting up a new group in the North Dorset, South Wiltshire, East Somerset area. Three Counties Magic Circle (Yeah OK I wanted it to have a name I can get past Church Wardens and publicans alike!) was created by me as a way to meet fellow practitioners in a friendly and informal environment approximately every two months in a location near Shaftesbury in North Dorset. I'm hoping that the group will be a great place to be able to chat about magic, swap ideas and try out magic effects both old and new with like minded individuals. Whilst the group is open to those interested in magic of any kind I'm hoping that there might be some members who will know why I get over excited when Prof BC has been busy or can double lift Tarot cards as well as they can Bicycle backs. We'll probably meet in a private pub back room or a hall of some kind and Im hoping that members will be happy to share a trick or method with other members sometimes (something that is already somewhere in the public domain) as well as having a chance to practice something new they are working on or presenting a favourite trick (with no requirement to share any methods) I would class myself as a long term hobby amateur with a fascination in bizarre magic. Im looking for the group to be a place that I can share my hobby with like minded individuals (and possibly a pint afterwards) If you are interested head over to www.threecountiesmagiccircle.co.uk |

A great idea, best of luck. I'd love to join but it's at the wrong end of the UK for me. Still, if I'm ever in the area...

Thanks Black Hart much appreciated. If you are ever in the area you will be very welcome, just drop me a line via our website. And if you happened to bring a selection of your products we could have the weirdest version of a tupperware party ever!
By coincidence when setting up our website a couple of weeks ago I included your website link in the members area as a bizzare supplier who is regularly recognised as having great products and customer service. I got distracted as always when I tested your link and picked out a couple of items that I'm hoping the Krampus might bring me for Yuletide if I'm bad enough! So I will hopefully be in touch soon with my first order. |

Excellent. Send a delegation to Doomsday!

Thanks Dr Todd, currently that delegation would fit comfortably on a unicycle, but it’s only been a couple of weeks so far.

Thanks to everyone out there for encouragement, ideas and offers of free talks etc. Very much appreciated. Unfortunately most of the interest so far has come from those just a bit too far away to make the trip worthwhile for just a few hours every couple of months but I’m hopeful that our first meet up will take place in the new year.

Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest so far and for the offers of free talks and even some free items! Very much appreciated. I'm in the
process of looking for a suitable place to meet and will post details of our first meeting up on our website at www.threecountiesmagiccircle.co.uk when I can. If anyone missed the first call out and would be interested in joining please feel free to e-mail me from the website. |

I wish you the best! Unfortunately, I live too far away to attend. Just remember: "A funeral with only one attendee isn't as much fun but it is still a funeral!" Just hand in there and give it a little time.

Nicely done! If you do ever send a delegation on a unicycle to Doomsday (just because you can!) please do video that and share it!
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.

Thanks Rook, I would of course post that video here first, though I do believe we have left unicycle territory now and might even be able to fill a small car! It must be something to do with those of a shy disposition being drawn towards magic, trying to start a group for inherently shy people is like trying to organise a picnic for agrophobics!
