The knives for my dagger chest are getting in pretty bad shape. The wood handles are falling apart and most of the blades are pretty bent up. So, I'm looking to get replacements of some sort. The knives for the Murder inc. look a lot better than the ones that come with the dagger chest. Does anyone know if you can buy just the knifes for the murder inc?
Also any other ideas for a place that sells knives that would work at a decent price? Thanks a bunch, Bob. |

Try real knives from the Dollar Store. Blunt the blades if you feel you must.

No, the knives are not sold separately for Murder Inc. They can be made with Aluminum purchased at the hardware store and scrap wood.

Thanks much for the info Bill. Both my metal and wood working skills are very feeble at best.

You can buy an 8 foot by 2 inch piece of aluminum at any hardware store. Just cut a point on the end and round off the point. Any hobby store sells small pieces of wood. I think anyone can cut a rectangle out of wood, and attach them to each side of the aluminum. screws or pop rivets work. Paint your favorite color and your done.
If you buy the bright aluminum, you can polish to a silver finish. Use Jewelers rouge on a drill buffing disk. Of course I like the idea of using common kitchen knives, but I have not seen any long one ten to twelve inches long in the stores around my area. |

You may be right Bill. I am going to buzz by the dollar store in the morning.
Odds are I am going to have to try to make them myself. Thanks much, Bob. |

Bread knives are the long ones, but they don't have a wide blade. If you just need the knives to go into the box and not come out the other side, the length of the blade is no problem as long as it can be seen when you open the box. A buck a blade beats whatever you would pay for the phony-looking daggers, and they will look real because they ARE real.
