He could be telling the truth about family junk, but lying to Bill in using it as a excuse for staying away from from the Café. We are, after all, such fun and pleasant folk that anything short of a coma shouldn't prevent someone from basking in the glow of our company.

Well, Bill didn't specifically state that Lobo claimed that was the reason he was staying away, just that he WAS up to his eyeballs in family junk.
