That's the original (as defined by H. Rice in his Silk Encyclopedia) version of Blendo, and it appears to be the one made by Uday: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S12844

Also it looks very much like the Blendo UGM put out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-rafW-kH5g
You can still get it from Stevens Magic https://www.stevensmagic.com/shop/blend-silk-ugm/ It wasn't cheap but is a good one. I actually have the same blendo without the instructions or the extra silks sitting in a closet, I could be persuaded to part with it for a reasonable price. PM me if you are interested.

Also look at SEO Magic, this is a Japanese website in English, that sells here in the U.S. out of California. They carry a lot of Japanese silk magic.

R Don, in 1980, Tricks Co. in Japan made a production watch like the small ones he 1st produced. Then they had a pocket Watch to jumbo watch. I don't know if they made the jumbo production watches, as the dealer at the convention only had these two items with him.
Most of his props look like the India props being sold at dealer websites. I would guess, they had made them sometime in the past. Really looked good, and he produced them very well. The original maker of the Ross jumbo watches were available for a while, at $5000.00 from the Netherlands. |
