Apparently International Magic are publishing a book by Dominick Twose for the Blackpool convention. The only thing I know about him is the chapter he wrote about his lessons with Fred Robinson in the Robinson book. It was a great chapter, but apart from that - nothing????
Does anyone know anything about this?

Sorry, I've only just spotted this.
I don't know who your source is, but yes, you're right.
I was Fred Robinson's pupil - And Simon Lovell could tell you of Fred's skill with cards.
This book consists of the tricks I've developed and used over the past thirty years (for geographical reasons I don't generally mix with other magicians, so my material is for the 'real world'! . I originally produced only a dozen copies and gave them to friends, and to magicians I admired as a thank you. But some of them were ridiculously complementary; and Jerry Sadowitz in particular felt so strongly he got me together with International Magic.
They are publishing it time for the Blackpool convention.

It is called Impromptu Secrets. It consists mainly of card material. But there are other things too, including a take on the Grey Elephant in Denmark effect that I'm stupidly proud of.

(PS it is "Dominic"!)

I got this book at Blackpool and been enjoying it the past couple of weeks.
There re a couple of things I can't use, Slon and Swearogram, because of language issues. It's a pity they didn't warn of this.
And there a a couple of things that are too technical for me.
It's a pity because they are all good ideas!
That apart, I loved going through this book. Lots of exciting, clever ideas. Largely cards.

I see this is available from International Magic, but does anyone know if there will be a U.S. distributor?

Has a U.S. distributor for this been chosen so that it can be purchased stateside or is the only option to have it sent from London?

Yes please.

Or maybe you can arrange a special price so the shipping won't be that much.
