Forum Friends,
I am a restaurant/birthday party magician who frequents this forum. Last week my life changed when a rare infection took my right eye. I am optimistic about getting back to work but It will take at least a month and there are medical and rehabilitation costs. My niece set up a GoFundMe for me. Yes I have health Insurance but there were two emergency room visits and two surgeries so I don't think Florida Blue will cover it all by any means.

Something similar happened to my dad a few years ago. Doctors told him his brain will adapt to the lost, so instead of losing 50% of vision, he Will lose 30%. It’s true. So stay positive and you will continue to enlighten people’s lives with your magic. |

I just donated. I hope that your situation improves and I will pray for you. I can empathize with your situation because I lost half my hearing to an infection and ended up with tinnitus as well.

It's been ten months since I lost my right eye. I now have a prosthetic eye and am back to work. The two surgeries exacerbated other health issues and I was unable to work for many months. The donations gave me much needed time to heal. Thank you for your thoughts and donations.
