Cringe.....personali taste of course but such cards belong in a sacred bag or a box. Or even tied with a ribbon or cord but a clip?

No, it’s not a presentation device. . It’s for between events, no one else would see it or even know about it. Just to flatten them out— so they keep fitting in the sacred box. Like the old stack of books method, but fit in the case.
Necessity is the mother of invention- A friend of mine made me a press, it’s basically two thin rectangles of steel, with 6 wingnuts to squish the cards, but it’s impractical to travel with. A spring steel clip like the ones they market for poker cards would be very handy. |

I've always found clips cause distress to the deck one way or another personally...
You can get elasticated velvet ribbon if that's any use? I use it a lot for keeping a stack of billets together and OTL
I've asked to be banned

Maybe you could get your friend to make one for you then see if we like it and you could be the distributor? I'd be happy to offer my review services for a sample and bottle of wine.
No matter how many times you say the wrong thing, it will NEVER be right.
If I'm not responding to you? It's because you're a TROLL! |

Hmmm images were rotated... it’s a J he carved in the top. But anyhow— this is a bit cumbersome for traveling, that’s why I was looking for a clip style.

Many years ago early to mid 1990s or longer ago its been a while- I designed these two clips (two are shown in the photo Dream Clip and Triple clip shown here holding 2 tarot cards The clip wings bend in to form to the body works well with 3 normal cards but will hold two larger cards, The other is called the dream Clip which can corner hold a tarot card well without marring it. Either of these have been made in well over 25 years,Hard to believe its actually been that long ago. The two clips shown on the tarot card are from my archive and the only two I think I have left.
If I get time I may publish the instructions on how to make them. But that's a big if. But some of you may be able to reconstruct these from the photo and feel free to make one for your own "personal" use as they have not been produced in a long time. Hint - take the safety pin apart and put it back together It will take a bit to figure out how to do that but you should be able to get it. Click here to view attached image. |
