Hi Guys,
I can't find it anywhere but I remember learning this years ago, but can't remember where or what its called. You give the spectator a pile of cards, and you have thier mates. You lay a card down first face down, and then they do, you can keep laying as many cards as you like and by the end the piles are turned over and they match - I remember it uses a one behind principle but can't remember the clean up - any ideas? |

You’re describing “Symbologic” by Hen Fetch. There have been MANY improvements since that routine was or originally marketed by several magicians and mentalists. The original routine is still sold by magic dealers, as far as I know, and it’s still a good trick.

...it uses a one behind principle... I'm almost certain people call that the "one ahead principle", but maybe I am wrong. The principle is pretty straight forward, and I wouldn't be surprised if more than one magician has released the trick you are describing in your post. |

Doug Dyment has a very nice version called "Bob's Your Uncle" in one of his booklets.
