Being somewhat disabled, strolling doesn't work well for me. I often use a mobility scooter, especially at large events. I am scheduled to do some "strolling" at the State Fair. I just bought this lap desk. It should work well.

Sounds like a good idea.
It has a nice look too. Adding a glue on half round border on the edge might keep things from rolling off (Not while it is open LOL). Are you going to add a top surface like a changeable mat or velvety top? I know you are crafty. Have fun at the fair. -Mary Mowder |

I have not really done much other then a few pages of notes and a few experiments. But I have always thought about a walk round table close up table stage. And this kind of is that. If you wanted you could place a small Bluetooth speaker in it and use music. Also the idea of doing a gig in a mobility scooter is great. There could be option and possibility aveliable to you as a result.
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |

I have used it once. It worked well. Front to back it is a bit snug between me and the steering tiller. Lose weight?

I have been using a plastic roller cart as a "walker" for Strolling magic, and I am currently making several different versions for others with the same disabilities that I have - including a place to sit down temporarily or even a permanent sit-down wheel chair table for when that eventually becomes necessary. Plan ahead, I always say. The e-Book of construction plans will be published soon in The Wizards' Journal #36. My inspiration came from seeing Mister Porkpie in his rolling "Magic Shack" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBFk3t3lz3c
