John Archer is a multi-talented man. He is a magician, a comedian, and a musician. He adds playful humor in his original songs as he plays the ukulele. In England, John tours with Tim Vine, a popular comedian best known for his one-liners. Some of his material was written by John, but John's addition to the sold-out shows across the U.K. is his comedy magic.
In this week's podcast, John talks about being the first magician to fool Penn & Teller when the show debuted in the U.K. plus he talks about his good friend, Tim Vine and working large theaters around the U.K. He also talks about he problems with performing in today's "politically correct" world where you must be careful what you say and where you say it. You can watch a video of both Tim Vine and John Archer, see some candid photos, hear some magic product reviews, listen online to the podcast and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/scot......n-archer One thing that was not mentioned this week is the new Indiegogo.com campaign that was started by Neil McNally for his film documentary on Doug Henning. I suggest that you visit the website for more information and to watch a short teaser video of what he plans to do. Neil was a guest on The Magic Word some months ago and talked about the Doug Henning Project and the upcoming campaign. Well, it is here and the time is now if you have the ability to donate to this good project. Check it out at: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/doug-......-world#/ You will receive some pretty cool perks for your contribution, too!
