Blurb: Woody Aragon is the king of inventing crazy card tricks that are way easier than they look. If you've every performed "twisting the aces" then "Dorset" is like that but on steroids. "Dorset" uses 8 ordinary cards, but looks like it uses all kinds of crazy double backers and gimmicks. It takes a little practice, but Woody goes through everything in extreme detail. The instructions for this trick are a solid 30 minutes with no fluff. You're definitely going to be a master of it by the time you're done. And because it uses ordinary cards, you can perform it anytime anywhere once you've learned it. And you will. I love it, but also I am biased for Aragon's material (I translated part of his book)

Looks like the handling is very clever - and quite natural looking. The ad says there are only 4 queens and 4 aces, but I wonder if that's true, as it looks like there are extra cards -- which is not really a problem unless you need to be sitting down (t-----g).
I'm tempted.... Dennis |

They say "8 ordinary cards"... that would exclude duplicates along the aforementioned gimmicks.

I'm not primarily a card magician, so I like packet tricks. Dorset sounds like a good addition. It's just that there are so many one-trick downloads lately (and Woodland is a bit too expensive for me right now), that I have to be picky about what I buy. Most of us I'm sure have way too many drawers full of effects.

Don't pass this up guys. So much happens very quickly and it will fool those in the know as well as lay people. It will require spending so time going over all the moves. Believemeit looks just like the trailer. Enjoy the genius of Woody Aragon

There are no extra cards. As Woody says on the explanation (Woodyland) This is sort of a version of Paul Harris’s “Reset” with an all backs thrown in.

Yea a combo of reset and all backs routine. Good teaching and if you like the reset type plot, I recommend it!

Don't fool yourselves, this trick might not be technically dificult but will take a lot of practice to properly master it.
Contrary to what the guy above said, it will not 'fool those in the know' but will fool laymen as long as you master it! |

8 normal cards. You will also need a card box as it comes into play. Requires practice. More work than twisting the aces so if you can’t do twisting the aces then forget this.
It’s pretty nice. All sleight of hand. So in the end you can give everything out. You need to make sure you get the sequence of moves right or cards will end up out of order. |

Anyone who enjoys this might also appreciate Larry Jennings' "Well Oiled Reset" which is an improved version of Paul Harris' "Reset" that adds a kicker ending. I believe it can be found in his tome "The Classic Magic of Larry Jennings".

I finally got this sequence down after practicing it for over an hour. I think the sequence for all backs should be slowed down in teaching it.
