I have recently heard that David Copperfield had a little something published in the one of the Harry Loryne Tarbell Course releases, can anyone verify that? If it is true, does anyone know what he contributed?
Thanks, Dave |

Just for the record they're the Harlan Tarbell books, not Harry Lorayne's. He only wrote the last one....

I thought Volume 7 was the one Harry wrote in the early seventies. Volume 8 is the one that was released in the early nineties. The rest of the set was, of course, written by Tarbell himself.

I thought Seth Kotkin was a relative of David's. Possibly a brother?

Yeah, I thought the last few were written by Lorayne, I could be wrong though. I will have to get that volume back from being borrowed to check out the effect. Is it a good effect at all?

Mento-Pen by David S. Kotkin (Davino)in Tarbell Vol. 7
Vol.7 was written by Harry Lorayne. Vol.8 consists of material written and illustrated by Harlan Tarbell (collected from various sources). Vol.8 was edited by Richard Kaufman and hit the market in 1993. |

Copperfield's real name is David. I saw his show a couple of months ago and he did a trick where a card was revealed through a sonogram. On the screen next to some readout stuff was MD David Kotkin. Thought it was kind of cool.
