Alright fellow magicians, how are you all doing, my fiance has just bought me the HOT ROD trick where you have the same six colours either side of the rod, but what I want to know is, how do I perform the PADDLE MOVE. Any help or information would be a big help. Thanks for your time and help, it is very much appreciated.

James, I am surprised that your HOT ROD did not come with directions that explained how to use it! Could your fianceé be playing tricks on you? I doubt that you will find anyone who will expose the move publicly in this forum, but check any book on color changing knives for various ways to perform the needed sleight. Whit Haydn's video or, less expensive, his manuscript on the "Intricate Web of Deception" has several variations you may find useful. Also, you might take your HOT ROD to your local magic store and ask someone there to help you. If they see you have the product, they may be willing to show you how to use it.

Almost any beginners magic books from your local library will show you how to do the paddle move, plus you will also get extra effects from the book, all for the price of a library ticket!.
