What do you think is the hardest card trick to do? Or even flourishes or sleights, anything to do with cards.
I would have to say that Estimation is the hardest thing i've ever come across. Followed closely by Ray Cosby's Raise Rise and Paul Harris' Instant Replay. Im curious to hear what you guys think. |

Ray Cosby's "Raise Rise" still slays me. It's not for the weak or frail.. It's one thing to finally get that pinkie finger to do all of the things that the trick needs, but smoothing that puppy out is another thing altogether. I had the pleasure of having Ray show me this trick at A-1 last year, and I've been practicing ever since and STILL don't have it as smooth and slick as he does it!
Of course, I'm going to the gym every day now doing pinkie push-ups to develop the muscles so that maybe ONE DAY I can get remotely close!

Haha, I know exactly what you're talking about. The first week i tried learning Raise Rise, my pinky finger was really feeling the burn. And to top it off i learned it the wrong way so i had to go back and re-learn it. But 5 months later all that practicing paid off and i had a somewhat presentable Raise Rise to show for it. Not quite Ray Cosby quality but close enough.

Normally, it is the one you are unable to do!
A perfect tabled riffle shuffle with a minature deck is difficult for me-- though Marlo use to crack them off with ease. |
